Upper Miramichi Elementary School is a K-5 school built in 1966. Located in
Boiestown, the geographical center of New Brunswick, Canada, we draw our
population from many small communities adjacent to Boiestown. The students'
educational needs are met by a staff of 10.5 teachers and TA assistance of
fifteen hours per week. The school is located between the Central New
Brunswick Nursing Home and Upper Miramichi Regional High School. Upper Miramichi Elementary School, with the support of our communities, is dedicated to educating all students to reach their fullest potential in an ever changing social climate. Our highly qualified staff, using the most effective teaching strategies, will provide the opportunities to empower students to be life long learners. Our mission statement is "The Upper Miramich Elementary School team, in partnership with our school families and communities, is dedicated to providing a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
