GOALS:
• Continue to provide a safe, secure environment through a variety of strategies (discipline, intervention, counselling and referrals)
• Implement several initiatives to improve literacy
• Continue to review and update / revise numeracy strategies
• Update FHS Technology Plan annually, in conjunction with District 18
• Continue to provide opportunities for our gifted and talented students through Enrichment
• Continue to provide opportunities for our international students through EAL practices
INITIATIVES / STRATEGIES:
• Continue communication with parents / guardians through the Principal’s Talk Mail Messages, additional information evenings, liaison with the PSSC members, open houses and parent – teacher interviews.
• Continue professional development in the areas of literacy, numeracy and technology
