What is it?
A Parent School Support Committee (PSSC) is a committee of 6-12 members elected to ensure that parents’ voices are heard.

Parents have always made great contributions to the quality of New Brunswick’s schools. Their success has ranged from supporting new initiatives in literacy and mathematics to defining standards of expected behaviours and assisting principals develop stronger volunteer programs.
Now you can have even more impact through the PSSC for your school.

DEC Hosts PSSC Orientation - October, 2011

The PSSC Orientation and Dialogue Session was held on October 27, 2011 at three school locations.  The Agenda and the Powerpoint are available here for you to review.

PSSC Chairs Meet with DEC

The PSSC Chairs met with the District Education Council on November 9, 2010.  The items that were discussed included:  School Improvement Plans, Infrastructure Planning, Role of the PSSC in Hiring the School Principal, Communication, Website Rollout and PSSC Funding Grants.
