Regional Heritage Fair

This year's District 18 Regional Heritage Fair is being held on Wednesday, May 2 at Marshal D'Avray Hall at UNB.  One hundred Grades 4-9 students from eight District 18 schools will set up their heritage projects to be judged and viewed by the public.  Twenty awards will be presented with the overall winner representing District 18 at the Provincial Heritage Showcase in June.  In addition, students will attend workshops, community organizations will have displays, and entertainers will be presenting in th

French Second Language Information Meetings

School District 18 will be hosting sessions to provide Parents/Guardians with information on Grade 3 Entry French Immersion, Grade 6 Entry Late French Immersion and Intensive French Programs.

2012 District 18 Concours d'art Oratoire

The 2012 District 18 Concours d’art Oratoire was held at Bliss Carman Middle School in Fredericton. Fifty seven (57) Middle and High school students took part.  Over 150 parents and friends attended this year’s event to support our students while they were doing their oral presentation in French.  Following are students that placed first in each category represented.  [From left to right – first row]  J. Reminder that there is no school for students on April 13, 2012.  Parent teacher Interviews for Grades 6 to 12 and professional development activities are scheduled for Kindergarten to Grade 5 teachers.

The April Meeting of the District 18 Education Council will be held at the District 18 Office on Thursday, April 12, 2012 beginning at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting is open to the public.

Elections for District Education Council
