Pencil Heads: A Creative Writing Workshop for Kids

Saturday, November 3 and Saturday, November 10 from 11 am to 12 noon.

All kids have a story to tell. We'll help them put pencil to paper and unleash their imaginations onto a blank page.

Young writers, age 7 to 13, are invited to join Writer-in-Residence Laurie Glenn Norris at the Fredericton Public Library. Children will explore different writing styles, engage in fun, hands-on writing games, and create short stories of their own. The skills developed through creative writing improve literacy abilities, encourage creative-thinking and build self-esteem. Please call 460-2806 to register for this free 2-week program.
