Substitute and Replacement Lists
Anglophone West School District will be accepting applications for substitute and casual replacement lists (4) four times per school year. This will be for all Substitute Teachers, Tutors, Replacement Educational Assistants, Replacement School Administrative Assistants and Replacement School Library Workers. Application packages are not available at this time as we will only be accepting applications in September 2012, November 2012, January 2013 and March 2013 and only through an advertised application process that will be outlined on our web-site(s).
Please note that applications for Replacement School Bus Drivers and Casual Custodians will be accepted on an ongoing basis.

Orientation Session for Substitute Teachers
Please note that the Anglophone West School District will be planning an Orientation Session for Substitute Teachers; however, a date is not confirmed at this time. It is anticipated this will occur in mid September 2012 and details will be posted on the web-site for those interested in attending. Thank you.
RENEWALS FOR ALL CASUAL EMPLOYEES
Notice to School District 18 - Casual / Substitutes – Renewals
Generally, every year we have done “renewals” to ensure current information for those on a casual list or in the STBS (Substitute Booking System). In consideration of the AESOP system that is currently in place which permits casuals/substitutes to control availability and the re-organization effective July 1, 2012, we will not be sending out any renewals. If this is identified as a need at some point in the future, a notification will be posted in the AESOP system and on the School District web-site.

If you have obtained additional work experience or education, please submit a revised resume to reflect these changes to Jackie Firlotte at District Office by mail or personal delivery. Thank you!
Casual/Replacement Educational Assistant Applications being accepted
Please be advised that School District 18 has resumed accepting applications for
casual/replacement Educational Assistants. The necessary
application forms will be re-added to the District web-site next week.
In the meantime, if you wish to pick up an application package, please
do so at the School District 18 District Office located
at 1135 Prospect Street, Fredericton, NB. Thank you.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SUBSTITUTE FRENCH TEACHERS
Effective Immediately - School District 18 is now accepting applications for replacement/casual French Second Language Teachers. Please use the Substitute Teacher Application forms found here on our website or pick one up at our office. Remember to include a copy of your French Proficiency Certificate with your application.
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CASUAL OPPORTUNITIES!
Please be advised that effective immediately School District 18 is no longer accepting applications for substitute teachers or tutors . The District will re-visit our needs in April, 2012 and may consider applications again at that time.
Replacement Bus Drivers
Applications will be accepted for the position of Replacement School Bus Drivers throughout the school year. Driver training sessions will be held the third week of October and the third week of March annually. Applications should be received prior to the end of September and end of February respectively.
Replacement Custodians
School District 18 will continue to accept applications for Replacement Custodians throughout the school year. Interviews will be conducted every three months.
